music

In cartagena you can find a lot kinds of music but the most representative are the "vallenato" and "champeta"; the last one was born there about 20 years ago and is inspired in the European-African music. Some typical dances are "mapale", "cumbia" and "el son".


There are some important singers in cartagena, for instance, Sofronín Martínez, Rufo Garrido, Joe Arroyo y Juan Carlos Coronel.

  • Festival de Jazz:December

    There are too many festivals that I didn't know... I think...you could have written some information about each festival, just to know a little bit about them ;)
